Materials Used:
- 3 – 18” Wooden Crates (available at Wal-Mart)
- 1 – 1”x 12”x 8’ shelf board
- 6 Bunn feet (we have a great selection of Bunn feet here)
- 2” Flat Quad Screws
- 18 gauge Brad nails (1” & 1-1/4”)
Cut your shelf board into 2-55” pieces. Paint the 3 crates, the bun feet & the shelf boards (top & bottom) your desired color. Let dry thoroughly.
Turn bottom board upside down and position 4 bun feet evenly to outside corners. Secure in place with 1-1/4” brad nails then set with your 2” flat quad screws. Take the last 2 bun feet and position them in very center (front and back) and secure them the same way.
Line up the 3 painted crates side by side and attach them together through the insides using 1” brad nails. Center the attached crates on the shelf board that has the bun feet attached. Using the 1-1/2” brad nails, secure the crates to the base board by shooting it through the crates and into the wood.
Take the remaining 55” shelf board and position it on the top of the crates, making sure to measure each overhang to make sure it is centered. Attach by shooting through the top into the crates with 1-1/2” brad nails making sure the brads go into the crates, especially on the corners and back. Putty and touch up paint on the brad nail holes. Let dry thoroughly.
